This Drupal 6 based website replaced their outdated and cumbersome Joomla installation. As a member-based website it allows registered users to share and download a variety of media from the website, such as notes and slides from previous presentations, and discuss ideas on a forum.

The website integrates with a variety of third-party services, including YouTube and Soundcloud, to provide the visitor with a media-rich experience.  The website backend also seemlessly integrates with Twitter and Facebook to provide instant updates to these social platforms.

One interesting aspect of the project involved creating a custom interface that allowed Pyrotec not only the inherent ability to add new products and services to their portfolio but also have complete control over what arbitrary order these items appeared, i.e. not just date or alphabetical order.

The solution was to use the Draggable Views module and link that to a secure administration screen.  The client can now simply drag and drop the products into whatever order they want and have the changes immediately reflected in the appropriate menu.
